This handcarved wooden panel is 38 inches wide and 18 inches tall, with a white oak finish. It features a meditative depiction of the Buddha surrounded by artistically rendered swirl and bamboo patterns, and a white branch of flowers that adds textural contrast. This line of wood wall decor is handmade from Monkey Pod wood which comes from very plentiful tree species in South East Asia. Each piece is finished with all natural, non-toxic oils, making them safe for any area of the home and non-damaging to the environment. All of these products were hand-carved and finished by local Chiang Mai, Thailand artisans.

We recommend tung or teak oil, as they're eco-friendly and naturally water resistant. While direct sunlight can cause more cracking on the ends of Monkey Pod wood, you can rub a natural wood oil to seal it and preserve its natural beauty.
