Motor City Connect

MCC is is quickly becoming the hub of Detroit networking. Their purpose is to connect business professionals with greater opportunities. An open community were relationships are developed through the sharing of referrals and the shared goal of developing the next generation of business leaders. MCC offers extensive training programs in leadership, networking, sales, finance, marketing, technology and more. Not only are they involved in the business community, the organization brings people together to aid local charities. They've truly been a source of hope amid Detroit's struggling economy.

PeopleMovers

Peoplemovers is an innovative online community of individuals and organizations working together to create healthy communities. Building on the concepts of social networking, Peoplemovers.com provides communities with the opportunity to connect with one another to volunteer, stay up to date with community events, locate resources and donate goods and services. The desire to build healthier communities has always been a part of their “DNA” as the company was originally founded in 2003 by Keith Zendler as a small grassroots community outreach program in the inner-city of Detroit.

Eco Tuesday

EcoTuesday was born from a conversation between two friends about the challenges of networking in today’s business world. The idea was for an event that would provide a shared context of sustainability for all participants.

Their goal is to connect sustainable business leaders with one another to potentially create products and services that will have a positive impact on the environment. The networking event is structured each month with a speaker, a Q & A, and a time for everyone in the room to introduce themselves. EcoTuesday is now held on the fourth Tuesday of each month in cities across the US.
