Why is this end table so eco-friendly? It is handmade from Monkey Pod wood, which comes from a very plentiful tree species in South East Asia. The use of this wood is super sustainable because it comes from some of the fastest growing, most abundant trees in the world. Each stool is finished with all natural, non-toxic oils, making them safe for any area of the home and for the environment. All of these products were hand-carved and finished by local Chiang Mai, Thailand artisans.

We recommend tung or teak oil, as they're eco-friendly and naturally water resistant. While direct sunlight can cause more cracking on the ends of Monkey Pod wood, you can rub a natural wood oil to seal it and preserve its natural beauty.
