This line of wood home furniture is handmade from the wood of Acacia trees, a very plentiful tree species in South East Asia. The use of this wood is highly sustainable because it comes from some of the fastest growing, most abundant trees in the world. Each piece is finished with all natural, non-toxic oils, making them safe for any area of the home and non-damaging to the environment. All of these products were hand-carved and finished by local Chiang Mai, Thailand artisans to support local communities and farms.

Product Care: Monkey Pod is a durable wood, so it can survive outdoors if properly finished and in a covered area. We recommend tung or teak oil, as they're eco-friendly and naturally water resistant. While direct sunlight can cause more cracking on the ends of Monkey Pod wood, you can rub a natural wood oil to seal it and preserve its natural beauty.
