This wooden chair is handmade from teak wood, a which is regulated by the Royal Forestry Department of Thailand. Most teak products are made from farmed teak wood and, if maintained properly, will last for years. Each piece is finished with all natural, non-toxic teak oil, making them safe for any area of the home and non-damaging to the environment. Not to mention, this extra finish makes the wood that much more durable. All of these products were hand-carved and finished by local Chiang Mai, Thailand artisans to support their local farms and communities.

This is a result of them being hand-picked and hand-carved pieces so every single one is unique. Product Care: Teak wood is naturally resilient and needs little to no maintenance. However, to alter the appearance of your teak wood, you can allow the teak oil to evaporate over time, turning the wood different shades of gray.
