This twist stool, made from sustainable Monkey Pod wood, stands 1 1/2 feet tall with a 10 inch square base. The simple beauty of this design, featuring one-quarter twists in the wood, is both rustic and refined. Perfect for use as end tables, a place to display a favorite object of decor, or as seating, the piece is finished in a natural walnut oil to preserve the grain and create a warm, uniform tone. All of our twist stools are hand-carved and finished by local Chiang Mai, Thailand artisans to support their communities.

This is a result of them being hand-picked and hand-carved pieces so every single one is unique. Product Care: Monkey Pod is a durable wood, so it can survive outdoors if properly finished and in a covered area. We recommend tung or teak oil, as they're eco-friendly and naturally water resistant. While direct sunlight can cause more cracking on the ends of Monkey Pod wood, you can rub a natural wood oil to seal it and preserve its natural beauty.
